キャンプマンからファンへ感謝の言葉
先日ジャガーズにFA移籍したDEアーロン・キャンプマンがパッカーズの地元両紙に以下のような大きな広告を掲載し、在籍8年間の好意に感謝を述べた。ファンからも記者たちからも「さすがキャンプマン」と称賛が集まっている。
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support, encouragement and friendship. It's been an honor to serve this community for the past eight years as a member of the legendary Green Bay Packer organization. Linde and I thank God for the years we've spent in Wisconsin, and we thank you for welcoming us with open arms.
For my family, this time has been so much more than a job. We've experienced many public and private successes that will stand in our memories forever. Most importantly, we experienced them with you.
I look forward to the day when I'll bring my three boys to Lambeau Field and reminisce about what it was like to be part of the Packer Nation.
管理人注: 署名の下に "2 Cor. 5:17,21" とあるのはよくある聖書の引用法で、この場合は「コリント人への第二の手紙 第5章17節、21節」という意味。信仰心の強いキャンプマンらしい。
